Phil and Terry Woodard began development in the South Main area in 1995 it Starting with 508 South Main The former Hotel Grand for there personal resident which included a retail space and a 2,000 Square foot apartment. Since that endeavor Phil and Terry has renovated numerous South Main buildings into loft style apartments, art galleries and retail spaces. They have won several restoration awards for the 505, 508 and 509 buildings on South Main and Phil Woodard received the Kay B. Newman Award for individual outstanding preservation in 2004.
Woodard Properties was started with the Saint Martin Condominium project a 20 unit conversion of the United Warehouse Building located at 137 GE Patterson.
The first infield project for Woodard Properties was the GE5 Town homes development, an edgy and contemporary town homes complex located at 125 East G.E. Patterson. The project included five 3-story town homes and was completed May of 2005. GE 5 has gone won 5 Architectural Awards. 2WEST was next; a 20-unit condo conversion just recently completed and are starting to fill up.
Madison19 is now under construction. A new in field of nineteen 875sf condos located at 670 Madison near the Medical District will available July of '08.
Phil's attention to detail and desire to provide the most modern amenities and contemporary style in his developments has made his apartment and condominium designs in the South Main Historic District very popular.
